This is an "authentic" chocalate milk recipie! it's yummy but it takes a bit of work.
Ingrediants: 40 grams of unsweetened chocalate
2 cups of water / 2 tbls.of sugar
2 tbls of corn flour
1. Pour water into saucepan, place over medium
heat until it's nearly simmering.
2. Meanwhile, combine the sugar and corn flour in a
cup.
3. pour a small amount of the hot water into the
sugar /corn flour mixture, and stir until you a
runny, lumpy free paste
4. Pour the paste back into the saucepan with the
rest of the water, over medium heat.
5. Break the chocalate into pieces, then add the
pieces to the hot water mixture.
6. Whisk the mixture over heat until it starts to
thicken. This will take a few minutes. The longer
you cook it, the thicker it will become!
7. Pour into a nice sized mug and serve
immediately. It's normal for this hot chocolate
to form a skin...like custard.
8. Awesome with churro's or croissant's
Factoid: People love to market the fact that dark chocalate has antioxidant properties. But remember, when milk is added to chocalate the cocoa binds with the proteins of the milk rendering the antioxidant's USELESS.
